John started his photography career at the Mad River Valley's newspaper, the Valley Reporter, in the mid 1990's, and was the Senior Staff Photographer and Videographer at Sugarbush Resort for almost a decade. John has published work in VT Sports, VT Ski and Ride, the US Ski and Snowboard Hall of Fame, Men's Health, Couloir, Telemark Skier, the Burlington Free Press, a few billboards on I95, and contributed significant volunteer work for groups like the High Fives Foundation, the Mad River Riders, the Vermont Mountain Bike Association and Catamount Outdoor Family Center. John's video work is deeply engaging, one of his shots has more 20 million views across the internet.
